I have been looking for this recipe for years. It was sold as tan tan noodle at a restaurant called Hui Bing Lo in San Francisco and I have not seen it anywhere since. Thanks!

I have 2 little kids that won't eat vegetables. Along with your recipe, I chop Asian squash the same size as the mustard greens and cook it within the sauce. They can't tell the difference!!!

hi jen,

i use this dish with my parents, my dad is very traditional older man. of course he has to taste and give me his 2 cents, he was really proud that i can make a chinese dish, for him during lunch. i also changed the spicy and black bean, since i have 2 young boys, i brought a soybean paste from chinese market. the boys LOVE IT. my 3 year old asked for more. it is awesome. thanks for sharing. =)
