Fiona - I personally like them smaller - more fried surface area = more flavor :)

Courtney (glamah) - the braised cabbage is probably my favorite part!

Caitlin - you can probably bake them in a covered dish for an hour if you can&#039;t get a steamer.</description>

They have become a staple in my house and have made me want to learn more about chinese cooking - the recipes you never hear about in restaurants!  It really is worth preparing the recipe as written because the meatballs have a wonderful texture and tenderness once simmered.</description>
