My daughter and I enjoyed lunch at the Kitchen next door yesterday. It was wonderful. You inspire me to get out and enjoy the snow more.

Wow – I normally don’t go for caramels but I watched the video on Helliemae’s website and it made me want salt caramels like none other! Unfortunately I can’t budget it right now but man, that video is effective advertising. This post also made me want a dog :P

Ha!! My backpack vomits rainbows all the time… thought I was the only one. (Please send some snow up here!)

Jess: Honey, you can have every bit of snow we have!
But you have to take the cold with it!
I should be used to it. I live in NB Canada, but I hate the cold and enjoy 90-120 degree weather.

Charlie, I’m in Ontario and we’ve had the most ridiculously (upsettingly) mild snow-less winter ever. I’ve been skiing spring conditions since December, and not in a good way! Cold doesn’t bother me – I like seeing how many of my fleece layers I can wear at the same time!

Linda – thank you!
Kristin – busy and fun :) I can’t do this for long though!
Charlie – the crisp outer shell is based on a fermented batter of lentils and rice. It is wrapped around masala potatoes (spiced cooked potatoes). It’s an Indian dish that I absolutely love.
Connie – hope you’re enjoying it :)
Allie – Ellen’s caramels are incredible. INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend splurging on some for yourself!
Jess – ;)
